We want to emphasize that it is completely private and secure (the video is not broadcast anywhere). The camera frames (images from video) are only used to obtain human face and shoulder girdle points, which are used to assess how you sit and track various parameters (see below).

What Information We Collect

Track My Posture collects and processes the following data:

• Keypoints of your face captured through your webcam.
• Keypoints of your shoulders captured through your webcam.

How We Use Your Data

The data collected by Track My Posture is used solely for the purpose of analyzing and providing feedback on your posture. Specifically, we use the keypoints to:

• Assess the angle of your shoulders.
• Monitor the position of your face relative to your monitor.
• Shoulder posture scores (overall, left, and right).
• Shoulder angle and height difference.
• Information on which shoulder is higher.
• Distance between shoulders and shoulder symmetry score.
• Neck tilt angle.
• Head tilt angle, vertical and horizontal direction.
• Head symmetry score and height position.
• Timestamp of when the data was created.

Data Security and Privacy

Your privacy and the security of your data are our top priorities. To ensure your data is protected, we implement the following measures:

• No Broadcasting:The images and data captured by your webcam are not broadcasted or shared anywhere. It works locally on your phone or computer. We only store aggregate statistics about your sitting.
• Local Processing: All image processing is done locally on your device using TensorFlow, a free and open-source software library for machine learning and artificial intelligence. TensorFlow is particularly focused on the training and inference of deep neural networks. Developed by the Google Brain team for Googles internal use in research and production, it ensures that the data is processed securely and efficiently on your device without being transmitted over the internet.
• Anonymity: We only capture keypoints (anonymized data points) of your face and shoulders, which are not personally identifiable.
• Secure Storage: If any data needs to be stored, it will be done securely and will be anonymized to protect your privacy.

Third-Party Services

We do not share your data with any third-party services. Your posture data remains on your local device and is not transmitted or stored on external servers.

As a user of Track My Posture, you have the following rights:

• Access: You can request access to the data we have collected about you.
• Correction: You can request corrections to any data that you believe is inaccurate.
